Release Date and Price
Samsung typically releases its flagship Galaxy S series smartphones in February or March every year, with pre-orders starting soon after the announcement. With the COVID-19 pandemic slows down, the Samsung conference was released as scheduled. The Galaxy S23 Ultra was released in February 2023, and officially in sale in March 2023. RAM memory include 8GB and 12GB, ROM storage include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, and the price of Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at around 1,199 USD.
S23 Ultra Specifications
In terms of features and specs, the Galaxy S23 Ultra build upon the advancements of its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The main advancements include processor and camera, besides, S23 Ultra adopts new design style.
In terms of performance, S22 Ultra adopting Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen1 5G chip, S23 Ultra is equipped with Snapdragon 8 gen2 5G chip. The main difference in shooting is, S23 Ultra adopting 200MP main rear-facing camera, which higher than S22 Ultra’s 108MP. But, its 12.0MP front-facing camera is weaker than S22 Ultra’s 40.0MP front-facing camera. It is worth mentioning that, the screen material of S23 Ultra is adopting Corning® Gorilla® Glass, improved drop-resistant, but still not yet comparable to rugged phones.
