Netflix is one of the most popular stream video play platforms, the website version is available on all computers and laptops, while the app version is available on smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming media players, and game consoles. The website and app have the same content, but the app may have some additional features, such as the ability to download shows and movies for offline viewing. However, whatever for which reason you want to stop Netflix autoplay, here are some steps for your reference.
To stop Netflix autoplay on the website:
- Go to your Netflix account page.
- Click on “Profile & Parental Controls.”
- Select the profile that you want to change the autoplay settings for.
- Under “Playback settings,” uncheck the boxes next to “Autoplay next episode in a series” and “Autoplay previews while browsing.”
- Click “Save.”
To stop Netflix autoplay on a mobile device:
- Open the Netflix app.
- Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Tap on “Manage Profiles.”
- Select the profile that you want to change the autoplay settings for.
- Toggle off the switch next to “Autoplay Previews.”
- Tap on “Done.”
